Fund Raising Walk in Aid of PASH in Kenya – March 2021

During the month of March ’21 our PASHUK Patron David walked each day an average distance of over 8 miles and achieved a total distance over 31 days of 250 miles. This was equivalent to walking from Mickleover, Derby to Southampton and from Southampton to Central London.

Dressed for cold & wet weather

The weather during early March was atrocious with freezing temperatures , gale force winds & torrential rain which made the walk much more difficult.

To David’s relief the weather improved later in the month & the latter days were thankfully warm & sunny. The walks each day were varied & covered walks around local villages, parks & countryside.

The money raised to date has been mainly from donations made to JustGiving and together with cash & cheque donations has amounted to date to a magnificent £2,070.00. A big thanks to all supporters who have donated, David is amazed at the generosity which will help to improve the lives of the Christian Communities of Western Kenya in Homa Bay County.

The money raised from this fundraiser will be specifically used for the summer Bible Teaching Conference, the purchase & distribution of Bibles to the PASH Communities, for Emergency Food Parcels to the poor & vulnerable and for the purchase of items to help prevent the spread of the Corona Virus which is now reported to be spreading rapidly through Kenya.
