David Hargreaves, Patron of PASH will be presenting a DVD & giving a talk about the PASH projects to Rotary club members in Doncaster.

A bible study seminar will be held in Awasi on the 9th to 12th December. Delegates from 100 PASH affiliated churches will be attending. PASH co-ordinator Benard Opiyo Muga will be reporting on the 3 days of bible study later in December.

The foundations for the new church centre were completed at the end of October 2011 and thanks to money raised at the Grand Charity Concert, construction of the walls & possibly roof can commence during December 2011.

The Grand Charity Concert was held on the 19th November to a sell out audience & was a resounding success.  Both Derventio Brass & Cantata Ensemble played & sang brilliantly. PASH would like to thank Derventio & Cantata for a fantastic evening of music which was enjoyed by everyone.  Money raised at the concert was

A sum of £1800, which was raised on the coast-to-coast sponsored walk, open day and a car boot sale, was sent to PASH, Kenya in August and building work for the church centre is starting shortly. We hope to have some pictures to post on here as the project progresses.  

After a highly successful concert at Derby Cathedral in February Derventio Brass and Cantata Ensemble will be joining forces again on 19th November for a concert in aid of PASH. The programmes includes: Music from shows such as West Side Story, Les Miserables, Evita, Chess, Sweet Charity Williams – Olympic Fanfare Orff – O Fortuna

For both the Coast to Coast and the Open Day at Linsey’s house a combined sum of £1250.00 has been received/pledged!! A fantastic sum which will be going towards the building of a Church Centre with facilities  for a library and nursery school in the area of Oyugis in Western Kenya.

On 4th June 2011 from 10 til 4 there will be an Open Day to raise money for PASH. This will be in Littleover at 9 Lime Walk and will consist of a Bring & Buy sale, plus coffee, cakes & raffle. Please support this event & bring along any items you wish to donate.
