1½ days to go before we start the Lakeland Challenge with Scafell Pike!! Can’t get any more difficult a mountain with it’s hostile terrain.
We travel tomorrow the 200 miles to the Lake District in readiness for our early start on Saturday morning at Seathwaite. On our first day the plan is to reach the peaks of Scafell Pike, Scafell & Great End. What have we let ourselves in for!! We must remember the cause & that will be all the incentive we need; thinking of the orphans, widows & poor in Western Kenya & the church community centre we are building.
